The history of this shipyard begins in the early 1900s, when Alessandro Mostes opens a boatyard on Lake Como, the result of his passion and skill in woodworking.
The turning point in the sixties, when Sandro Mostes realized that production had to be changed and improved: he thus began to design and build the first flat-bottomed mahogany wood motorboats. The technological improvement and the increase in production, given by the new use of fiberglass, lead Mostes to start a new, great experience. Not only that: it is always in this period that the shipyard also builds competition motorboats, thanks to the passion for racing and speed. A new reality, which Mostes faces with confidence and exciting performances.
And then, the eighties: the renovation of the shipyard and the choice to favor an increasingly specialized and innovative production of hulls from 6.50 to 10.10 meters, thus combining tradition with contemporary design. A new way of surfing with high performance.
How to tell Mostes in three words?
Easy: craftsmanship, elegance and design.
